Hamas releases hostage video of woman taken from Israeli music festival Hamas has released a video which appears to show 21-year-old Mia Shem, who was taken hostage from a music festival where hundreds of people were ki**lled during its October 7 att**acks.
The video of Shem, who holds joint Israeli-French citizenship, was released on Hamas’ Telegram channel, The Telegraph reports.
Hamas urged people to ignore the evacuation order. The Israeli military on Sunday released photos it said showed a Hamas roadblock preventing traffic from moving south.
A spokesman for the group Hamas claimed Monday afternoon (U.S. time) that its military wing is currently holding between 200 and 250 hostages throughout Gaza.
In northern Gaza, unknown numbers remained, either unwilling or unable to leave.
170,000 people were sheltering at its schools in the north when the order to leave came.
But it couldn’t evacuate them and doesn’t know if they remained. More than 40,000 have crowded in and around Gaza City’s al-Shifa Hospital, hoping it will be safe from bom***bardment.
