And, for some reason, people on TikTok have revived the Foo Fighters’ 1997 hit, Everlong, and are using it to soundtrack agitating short videos. This has now spilled over to the now-viral rollercoaster footage that has been dubbed the ‘Kodiak incident.
In a video that has attracted an astonishing 77 million views since it was uploaded in early October, a rather daunting-looking rollercoaster ride is being ridden by a crowd of people.
The video isn’t for the faint-hearted, that’s for the sure. People are being thrown into the sky and back down again whilst sat on seats that are slowly revolving.
Scary though it may look, all seems well with the ride until it reaches the bottom – when suddenly the video pauses, making it look as though the ride is about to crash.
The video remains on that frame for the rest of the video, leaving hundreds of confused TikTokers demanding to know what happened.
As noted by the TikTok search bar, the video has been unofficially named the ‘Kodiak rollercoaster inc**ident’, though it is unclear where the rollercoaster is based and whether it is actually called the Kodiak.
