Bigfoot ‘spotted’ in Colorado. Couple’s video sparks speculation about mythical creature.
An American couple is convinced they have managed to capture the legendary Bigfoot on camera.
Shannon Parker and her husband Stetson were travelling on a train through Colorado when they spotted a hairy, humanlike creature moving through the woods, Newsweek reported.
We were looking for elk in the mountains and my husband sees something moving and then can’t really explain it. So he’s like ‘Bigfoot!’” Shannon told The New York Post.
Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is a legendary creature said to inhabit the remote forests of North America.
Despite numerous reported sightings, footprints, and anecdotal evidence through the years, there is no conclusive scientific proof of the existence of Bigfoot.
While many researchers are convinced that Bigfoot does not exist, the couple’s video has created a frenzy on social media. One version, posted on X, has collected over 15.5 million views in 24 hours.
Shannon says she herself was not fully convinced about Bigfoot’s existence until she saw the creature from the train. “It was at least six, seven feet or taller.
It matched the sage in the mountains so much that he’s like camouflaged when crouching down…if you asked before our trip we would have said maybe [Bigfoot] could be real.
